Claude over inReach · Last updated 6 August 2026
This policy explains what Claude over inReach collects when you send it a text message, and what is done with that information.
No account is created. No name, address, payment information, or precise location is requested or stored. Location is only present if you choose to include it in the text of a message.
Solely to generate and deliver a reply to you, to keep short-term conversational context so follow-up questions make sense, and to enforce a message limit that protects against runaway costs. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any automated decision-making about you.
Message delivery uses Twilio. Application hosting uses Cloudflare. Replies are generated using Anthropic's Claude API. These providers process message content strictly to deliver the service. No other party receives your data.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Information is never sold or rented.
Only the most recent conversation turns are retained, to provide context for
follow-up questions. Older turns are discarded automatically. You can erase the
stored conversation at any time by sending /new. Sending
STOP ends messaging entirely.
Incoming webhooks are cryptographically verified so that only genuine messages are processed. Credentials are held in encrypted secret storage. Transport is encrypted in transit; SMS itself is not end-to-end encrypted, so avoid sending sensitive information by text.
Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or contact tom@tomchuk.com to request deletion of any information held about you.
This service is for personal use by its operator and is not directed to children under 13.
Any change to this policy will be published on this page with a revised date.
